Wednesday, March Second  Two Thousand and Five in the Year of our Lord.  [Updated 3/31/2006]
Interesting Places:  Century
On the western edge of Fayettenam, right along the Ho Chi Mon river, where U.S. Route 40 crosses it, lies the town of Brownsville,
Pennsylvania.  A long, poorly maintained, dead end road leads to an area known as Century
This was an old schoolhouse (I believe).  I'm surprised that it is still standing, actually, due to its
remoteness and the love of area teenagers to torch abandoned buildings.
A peek inside.
A closer look inside.
My 1982 Chevy S-10 2.8 V6 4-Speed RWD Truckersaurus!
This is Dunlap creek.  Status: Fishable!
An old stone bridge over the creek.  A similar bridge, which went over the road, was taken out a few
years ago.  Part of the old Monongahela railway, which I believe to have been abandoned in 1976.
This section went from Brownsville through Republic.
Same bridge, different view.
One of the abandoned houses atop the hill.
(Neat, huh!)
